For the crumble topping (Food processor)
- 2.63oz butter, cut into cubes
- 5.25oz plain flour
- 2.63oz demerara sugar
For the filling (Food processor)
- 28oz cooking apples, peeled and cored
- 7oz blackberries
- 2 tbsp water
- 2.63oz granulated sugar
For the topping (Food processor)
- 2 tbsp demerara sugar
- 0.35oz flaked almonds
For the crumble topping (Foodi)
- 1.4oz butter
- 2.8oz plain flour
- 1.4oz demerara sugar
- 2 tsp pumpkin seeds
- 2 tsp sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp rolled oats
- 1 tbsp demerara sugar
For the filling (foodi)
- 14oz bramley or cooking apples
- 3.5oz blackberries
- 2 tbsp water
- 1.4oz granulated sugar to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 190°C/gas mark 5.
Step 2
Install the chopping blade in the Precision Processor® Bowl. Add butter and flour in bowl and select CHOP.
Step 3
Add sugar and select CHOP again.
Step 4
Remove the chopping blade from the bowl and set aside crumble mixture. Install the disc spindle in the bowl. Place the reversible disc, slicing side up, on the spindle. Install feed chute lid and place apple quarters in feed chute. Select LOW, then use the pusher to push apples through the chute. When all the apples are sliced, stop program and layer apple slices into a shallow ovenproof baking dish, with blackberries, water and granulated sugar. Sprinkle over crumble mix and top with demerara sugar.
Step 5
Bake in oven for 30 minutes until golden brown.
Step 6
Put butter and flour into a mixing bowl and rub butter into flour until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Stir in demerara sugar.
Step 7
Peel, core and slice apples into slices. Layer apples with blackberries, granulated sugar and water into the multi-purpose pan or a shallow dish.
Step 8
Spoon the crumble mixture over apples etc. to cover completely.
Step 9
Sprinkle over seeds, oats and demerara sugar and gently press onto mixture.
Step 10
Select BAKE/ROAST, set temperature to 180°C and set time to 30 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin.
Step 11
Cooking is complete when crumble is golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
